To save the discs from wearing down too quickly, they must be made of durable materials. 

Most often, brake pads comprise several layers: a carrier plate, a layer corresponding to vibration damping and calliper protection against high temperatures, and a friction material that rubs against the disc surface.

Next, you should check the washing conditions of the pistons, seals and the brake fluid's condition. After checking all the aspects mentioned above, we can start lapping new brake discs and pads.

Such a process consists of depositing the so-called "Film", that is, a thin layer of material. During such a process, the friction elements can adapt to the working conditions, i.e.the driver's driving style.
